Prices
Land prices vary from region to region but there is still a huge cost difference from UK prices. This linked with greater availability means we can acquire a good sized plot at an affordable price.
An average price for 1,000 metre square plot, approximately one quarter of an acre would be in the region of 20,000 euros, this price rises dramatically as one nears the coast.
Many new builds are being constructed on the edge of the main towns and in the countryside as this is where the available land is to be found. The advantage of these locations is that there is more space to build on and can accommodate extra features such as swimming pools.
